Dr. Nick Lloyd

Senior Clinic Veterinarian (MVB (TCD) )

Dr Nick graduated from Dublin University in 1980. After 3 years of general (All Creatures Great and Small)  practice in Dorset, he came to Australia. Work in several busy Adelaide practices followed over the next 14 years before he took the reins of Paradise Veterinary Hospital (which he had the pleasure of making an ‘ASAVA  Accredited Hospital of Excellence’) for the following 16 years. After the sale of Paradise he has done part time locum work in several practices before joining the Team at the Parade Norwood Veterinary Clinic.

Dr Ana Carolina Springford

Senior Clinic Veterinarian (BVM BVS (Nott) )

Dr Ana graduated from the University of Nottingham in 2015. After finishing her studies, she moved to Australia to complete a small animal internship at the University of Queensland. She then came to Adelaide to work with emergency and critical care for 3 years. Ana started at The Parade Norwood Veterinary Clinic in September 2019 and has since been loving getting to know her new patients and their parents. Her main areas of interest are cardiology, toxicology and trauma. She spends most of her free time with her husband, their Labrador Stella, their terrier Moo and their cat Gnocchi working on their vegetable garden or at the beach.

Dr Ashvin Vasuthevan

Senior Clinic Veterinarian (BVSc (Syd) )

Dr Ash graduated from the University of Sydney in 2012. He started off in a busy small animal practice up north for a couple of years, but then went into the field of emergency and critical care. He worked as an emergency vet for over 5 years in both Adelaide and Sydney. He joined the team at The Parade Norwood Veterinary Clinic in January of 2020. He has a keen interest in small animal medicine, emergency and critical care and dentistry. In his free time, he rides his motorcycle, reads, goes for jogs, and watches movies with his cat Abbey.

Dr Kaori Takeoka

Senior Clinic Veterinarian (BVSc (Hons) (Qld) DVM (Ca) )

Dr Kaori was born in Japan and moved to California when she was a child. She pursued her dream of becoming a vet which led her to move to Australia where she attended the University of Queensland to do her veterinary degree. After graduating in 2009, she moved to Adelaide where she worked in a busy general practice, followed by a few years as an emergency vet at a specialist and referral hospital. She joined the team at The Parade Norwood Vet clinic in early 2020 after spending some time back in California with her family where she also completed her North American Veterinary Qualifications. Kaori loves all aspects of veterinary medicine, but she has a special interest in feline medicine. When not in the clinic, she is busy being a mum to her 3 toddlers Hideaki, Kota and Koji (twins), and loves being outdoors at the beach.

Dr Michael Hilditch

Veterinarian (BSc (Vet Bio), DVM)

Dr Michael graduated from the University of Adelaide in 2020. Having done multiple placements at The Parade Norwood Veterinary Clinic during his studies, Michael joined the team in early 2021. Michael has a keen interest in feline medicine and imaging. He spends his free time cleaning up after his cat Bernie and his two Cairn Terriers, Charlie and George.

Veterinary Practice Manager

Caitlin has a Certificate IV in veterinary nursing. She began working at The Parade Norwood Vet clinic in 2008. She has an elderly pure bred mutt named Lexi and a food obsessed ginger cat named Mai Mai. They assist her in binge watching many movies and TV shows. She also loves catching up with family and friends, travelling, and taking Lexi for new and interesting walks.

Jodie Karayiannis

Senior Vet Nurse

Jodie started nursing in 1996 and got her Certificate IV in veterinary nursing in 2000. She has been a part of The Parade Norwood Veterinary Clinic family for over 20 years. She is very passionate about continually updating her knowledge, and loves learning new things in the veterinary industry. She has an interest in animal behaviour and nutrition. She also loves helping with puppy pre-school. 

Liz Halsall

Senior Vet Nurse

Liz joined The Parade Norwood Vet Clinic in May of 2010. She has her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing. She has loved working here as she feels that everyone is really friendly and supportive. Liz is married with 3 adult children. In her spare time she enjoys bike riding, hiking/walking, camping, going to the beach, and reading. She has a beautiful old girl named Jessie who is a Border Collie, and two cats named Meg and Toby.

Carly Pike

Veterinary Nurse

Carly has completed her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing and has been nursing for about 14 years now. She loves all aspects of her job. She has a Golden Retriever called Sampson and a retired clinic cat named Toby. She loves spending time with her son Liam, and her husband Dave. She spends a lot of her free time catching up with friends and family.

Victoria Jimenez

Veterinary Nurse

Vicky joined the team at The Parade Norwood Vet clinic in January of 2020. She graduated as a vet from the National University of Colombia in Bogota in 2010, and worked as a mixed animal practitioner in a number of local vet practices for almost 5 years. She travelled to Australia with her husband in 2014, and moved permanently to Adelaide in 2016. She has volunteered at the RSPCA and AWL, and worked as a veterinary nurse in a few vet clinics in Melbourne and Adelaide during her time in Australia, gaining experience and an understanding of the Australian veterinary industry. In her spare time, she loves to walk her rescue Kelpie cross named Chuck, baking and going to the beach.

Diana Dichiera

Veterinary Nurse (Certificate IV Veterinary Nurse)

Diana's career started as a ward attendant in 2010 after which she began a traineeship to become a Certificate IV Veterinary Nurse. In 2013, she became qualified as a Veterinary Nurse and has been nursing since then. She is committed to providing the highest quality of patient care and enjoys all aspects of nursing. Diana has a wonderful and extremely playful border collie named Cooper who loves to keep her on her feet. When not working, Diana enjoys catching up with friends and spending time with family
